Obituary for Isaac Keith "Ike" Dodd
Isaac Keith “Ike” Dodd, 82, of Bunker Hill passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Care Haven Center surrounded by his daughter and son in law.
Born December 16, 1938 in Mannington, WV he was the son of the late Jacob Walter Dodd and Dorothy Frances Hinerman Dodd.
Isaac was a member of South Berkeley Baptist Church. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Martinsburg. He retired from General Motors. He slo started the Baker Heights Volunteer Fire Department. Isaac enjoyed camping and going to the ocean. He also loved deer hunting and gardening.
He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy McKenzie and husband, Jim; bonus daughter, Natalie Stickles; one grandson; one great-grandson; three stepchildren, Roger Clower, Jr., Steve Clower and Jennifer Busey; four step grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; one sister, Darlene Gillespie; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carmella Joy Dodd and his second wife, Patricia Ellen Shiley Dodd.
Family will receive friends only from the hours of 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the chapel with Rev. Pat McCoy officiating.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Interment will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
