Obituary for Homer Bernard Owens
Homer Bernard Owens, 85, of Bunker Hill passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center.
Born May 20, 1937 in Martinsburg he was the son of the late Guy Homer Owens and Pearl Hazel DeHaven Owens.
Homer was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Mountain View Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Anderson Owens; three daughters, Vicki Sanders, Christina Knox and Faith Owens; six grandchildren, Daisy Mawhinney, David Creamer, Tiffany Knox, Izak Yates, Trenton Yates and Aleeda Yates; four great-grandchildren. Autumn Creamer, David Creamer, Jasper Edens, and Able Edens; one great-great grandchild, Grayson Smith; and one sister, Hazel Smith.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Floyd Owens, Kenneth Owens and Vernon Owens.
Services and interment are private.
