Obituary for Gladys May Albright (Pearrell)

Gladys May Albright, 79, of Hedgesville, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Stonespring Hospital.

Born September 24, 1941 in Berkeley Co., she was the daughter of the late Harry Nixon Pearrell and Isabel Robinson Pearrell.

She was joint owner with her husband, Richard L., of RS & A General Contractors where she served as vice president. She was a member of the Bunker Hill Church Brethren in Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Lee Albright; three sons, Dale Edwards, Charles Edwards, and Michael Todd Butts; one daughter, Gail Edwards Braithwaite; three stepdaughters, Tracy Foster, Torri Edland, and Carri; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Crissman, and Linda Sullivan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Edwards; eight brothers, Howard S., Willis N., Robert W., Harry L., Walter W., William E., Amos F., and Carl R. Pearrell; and two sisters, Janey Hillard, and Mildred Kackley.

The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 17, 2021.

Visitors will be required to wear face mask, practice social distancing, and follow directives.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the chapel with Pastor Raymond Martin officiating.

Interment will be held in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
