Obituary for George Keirn Campbell
George Keirn Campbell, 74, of Falling Waters, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born March 31, 1946 in Altoona, PA he was the son of the late John Robert Campbell and Ethel Mae Keirn Campbell.
He was a member of Bedington United Methodist Church. George was a sales manager for the Tasteykake Baking Co. for thirty-six years.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Turnbaugh Campbell; two daughters, Sheri Gongaware-Fitzpatrick and husband, Robert of Crabtree, PA and Teri J. Speakman and husband, Scott of Coatesville, PA; and five grandchildren, William and Joseph Gongaware, Hunter, Campbell, and Macey Speakman.
He was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Jason P. Gongaware; two brothers, Robert J. and Richard Campbell; and two sisters, Lois Parson and Cilla Mills.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 2:00PM to 3:00PM on Thursday, March 25, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 3:00PM with Dana Rodriquez officiating. Interment will be private. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
