Obituary for Gary David Walls
Gary David Walls, age 78, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away at home surrounded by family on December 16, 2022.
Born December 12, 1944, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Samuel and Opal Yonker Walls.
He was retired from General Motors; attended Fellowship Church of the Brethren, volunteered with Meals on Wheels for seven years and was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Susan Rutherford Walls; daughter Misty Walls Chicchirichi (Todd); son Thomas Walls (Leigha Adkins Walls); grandson JD Allman; brother Willard Walls and sister Patsy Walls.
Gary was preceded in death by daughter Samantha Walls; six brothers: Virgil, Junior, Lester, Ray, Roger and Brian; four sisters: Mary, Freda, Joan and Jean.
Services and Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation, in Gary’s name, to Hospice of the Panhandle, who we thank for their kindness, respect and care given.
