Obituary for Franklin Woodrow Kendrick

Franklin Woodrow Kendrick, 80, of Bunker Hill passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, December 10, 2020.

Born December 15, 1939 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Robert Kendrick and Katherine Kendrick Parkinson.

He was a member of the Martinsburg Moose Lodge #120. He was a devoted family man who loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and any family members and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Garrison Kendrick; three daughters, Virginia Kay Courtney, Brenda Lee Burns, and Amy Lynn Boarman (Tracey); six grandchildren, Sarah, Ricky, T.J., Erica, Frankie, and Brandy; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Betty Hollander, Dave Kendrick, Terry Kendrick, and Steve Parkinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by brother Charles “Bud” Kendrick and sister Dorothy “Dottie” Dillard.

The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 10:00AM to 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 followed by a service at 11:00AM with Rev. Walter Bowers officiating.

Interment will be Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
