Obituary for Francis Russell Newcome Jr.
Francis "JR" Russell Newcome Jr, 62, of Hedgesville West Virginia passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Francis Newcome, Sr. and Dorothy Newcome, of Richmond Virginia and a grandson Landon.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Newcome of Hedgesville; children, Scott Newcome of Inwood, Kim (Mike) Nichols of Hedgesville, Kristin (Matt) Lemaster of Poca, Amy Newcome of Gerrardstown, and Kevin Burns of Kingwood; siblings Linda (Lloyd) Stearns, Evelyn Wright, and Corey (Gary) Holc. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Jacob, Adriana, Jay, Nathan, Kaison, Megan, Owen, and Gracelynn; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He enjoyed a close relationship with nephew Bryan Palmore and nieces, Amanda Tapia and Jessie Stearns.
The family will receive friends from the hours of 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday, April 3, 2021, at the South Berkley Chapel in Inwood. A memorial service will follow at the chapel.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
