Obituary for Evelyn Louise Sprenkle (Anders)
Evelyn Louise Beahm Sprenkle, 94, of Charles Town, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born November 11, 1928, in Summit Point, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Raleigh Gardner Anders and Lillian Willabelle Hinton Anders.
Evelyn was a lifetime member of the VFW Charles Town Post 3522. She had worked as a circuit coordinator for GTE, as a telephone operator, and at the ACME market for 9 years.
She is survived by 3 sons: Willard Eugene Beahm, Jr, of Thurmont, Maryland, Allen “Pete” Wayne Beahm, and wife Wanda, of Maysville, North Carolina, and Lyle Kevin Beahm, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; two brothers: Marvin Anders, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, and Rev. Gerald Anders, of Maryville, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Charles, Donald, Harold, and Allen Anders, and 2 sisters: Gwendolyn Lanham and Dorothy Hough.
A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Jefferson Chapel of Brown Funeral Homes, with the Rev. Gerald Anders officiating.
Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
