Obituary for Emmert Wallace "Wally" Hardee
Emmert Wallace Hardee, “Wally”, 79, of Inwood passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Hospice Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville.
Born July 7, 1943 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Woodrow Hardee and Faye Hardee (Markle).
Emmert worked and retired from General Motors and farming for over thirty years.
He loved to tinker on his farm and in his garage, usually working with old tractors and lawn equipment.
He is survived by a son, Timothy “Timmy” Hardee, and wife Lisa; two brothers, Ronnie and Craig Hardee; four sisters, Elaine Fisher, Marjorie Larick, Judy Stains, and Beverly Stauffer; four grandchildren, Amber Johnson, Nathan Hardee, Amanda Gum, and Taylor Hardee; two great grandchildren, Aria Hardee and Zoey Hardee; and son-in-law, William Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Johnson, and a brother, Ricky Hardee.
Family will be holding a private service on Thursday, July 28, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Stroke Association.
