Obituary for Elizabeth Emily James
Elizabeth E. James, 88, of Martinsburg passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023.
Born and raised in Martinsburg WV, she was the 1st born daughter of Emily and James F. Zombro and blessed stepdaughter of Ruth Zombro.
Elizabeth was a CNA for 20 years in the Martinsburg area. She attended the Mountainside Tabernacle. She loved to go to Bingo and loved family dinners.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley Myers and husband Edward of Martinsburg; 3 sons, Phillip and wife, Toni of Hagerstown, MD., Ronald and wife, Millie of Williamsport, MD., and Randy and wife Carol (her aide from senior center for the last 3 1/2 years) of Martinsburg; one brother, Larry W. Zombro of Hedgesville; two sisters Victoria and husband Wayne Siler of Martinsburg, and Dorothy Weaver of California. Elizabeth is survived by a large family of 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Trammell James; one daughter, Brenda Stuckey James; three sisters, Helen Orr, Frances Kilmer, Pauline; and one brother, Richard; and her Kitty Cat Maci.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home with her son-in-law Pastor Edward Myers officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
