Obituary for Edward Michael "Mike" Horton
Edward Michael “Mike” Horton, 68, of Inwood passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born June 16, 1952 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Hasten B. and Ruth Isdell Horton.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Norma; one daughter, Jeannie McGeehan and husband of Baltimore, MD; two grandchildren, Alexander Vincent McGeehan V and Lyssa Horton; one great-grandson, Noah; one brother, Charles Allan Horton and wife, Sue of North Eastern, PA.
The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open for family to receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 followed by a service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Patrick McCoy officiating. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing and follow directives.
Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, VA.
