Obituary for Edgar "Noll" Wilson
Edgar “Noll” Wilson, 94, of Martinsburg, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born April 26, 1928, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Edgar Allan Poe Wilson and Annie Meade Wilson.
Edgar served in the Marines for 4 years and the Air National Guard for 23 years. He was a lifelong member and Scout Master of Otterbein United Methodist Church and worked at DuPont for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Patricia Roane Wilson; son, Michael Wilson and wife Carol; daughter Lindsey Lindsey and husband Jim; five grandchildren, Brianne Wilson and husband Don, Courtney Gibson and husband Buddy, William Lindsey; John Lindsey and wife Caitlin, Matthew Lindsey; and three great granddaughters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phoebe Payne.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
