Obituary for Delvaguine Louise Wilt (Burnett)
Delvaguine Louise Burnett Wilt, 87, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born May 2, 1935 in Berkeley Co., she was the daughter of the late Andy Barron Burnett and Sarah Byers Burnett. She was a graduate of Martinsburg High School, Class of 1953 and retired from the VA Medical Center.
Delvaguine was a member of the Burnside First Church of God.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Jones of Martinsburg, Daniel Jones of Williamsport, MD; three grandchildren, Richard Duane Jones, Amy Allen and husband, Daniel, Martika Jones; one great grandson, Zachary Faircloth; one sister, Joyce Sencindiver, of Martinsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Melvin Wilt; son, Donald Jones; one brother; and three sisters.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
