Obituary for David "Jack" Burleson
David “Jack” Burleson, 77, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Berkeley Medical Center with his family by his side.
Born May 14, 1943 in Clarke County, VA he was the son of the late Troyce W. Burleson and Lily V. Elliot Burleson.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Parrill Burleson; a son, David Burleson, Jr. and wife, Cassandra; a daughter, Ursula Riggleman and husband, Marc; three grandchildren, Whitney Burleson, Nikita Riggleman, and Garrett Riggleman; one great grandson, Noah Suggs; two brothers, Gary L Burleson and wife Nancy and Gale R. Burleson and wife, Ann; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gene R. Burleson; a sister, Maxine Burleson; and a grandchild, Savannah Burleson.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
