Obituary for Davaun Diane Martin (Heck)
Davaun Diane Heck Martin, 71, of Martinsburg, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.
Born September 23, 1951, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Walter Jahue Heck & Alice Virginia (Brown) Heck.
She is survived by one son, Philip Andy Martin (Stephanie) of Martinsburg; one brother, Walter R. Heck (Carolyn) of Newcastle, VA; one sister Darlene K. Heck-Flood, of Martinsburg; and two grandchildren, Jessica Brooke Martin, and Kimberly Renee Zachmann (Jesse); and great grandson, Benjamin Zachmann.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip L. Martin; two brothers, Ronald S. Heck, and Mitchell L. Heck and four sisters, Deloris F. Heck, Patricia A. Robinson, Carol V. Mauck & Geneva J. Caplinger.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Summers and Pastor Walter Bowers officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
