Obituary for Curtis Scott Shade
Curtis Scott Shade, 62, of Martinsburg, passed away on Saturday January 30, 2021, at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born April 14, 1958, in Berkeley County, he is the son of Ellen Dale Dent Hough and the late Curtis Leon Shade.
Curtis enjoyed spending time with his family and was of Christian Faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dawn Brannon Shade; one daughter, Autumn Brooke Cullen; one grandchild, Mya Cullen; one sister, Terri Bodner and husband, Jack; one brother, Darren Shade and wife, Stacy; stepsister, Paula Walker; mother in-law, Donna Harmison and husband Dale; four sister in-laws, Lori Harris and husband Bill, Carmen Brannon, Rhonda Snyder and husband, Tom, Wendy Phillips; brother in-law Rodney Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother in-law Roy “Petie” Brannon; and stepfather, George Hough.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only one hour prior to the service from the hours of 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2021 followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Tom Snyder officiating. Visitors will be required to wear face mask, practice social distancing, and follow directives. Interment will be private.
