Obituary for Charles Lynn "Charlie" Hopkins Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Lynn Hopkins, Jr., 44, of Inwood passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 6, 2020.
Born February 12, 1976 in Martinsburg, WV he is the son of Sharon Crim Johnson and husband, Eddie; and Charles Lynn Hopkins, Sr.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Inwood; and had been employed with Valley Health.
He loved to work on cars and trucks, playing with his John Deere, and talking with friends. Charlie never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by the love of his life, Gina Kerns Hopkins; children, Brittany Baker, Collin Hopkins, Katelynn Linton, Cierra Hopkins, and Charles Hopkins, III; one brother, Travis Johnson; grandfather, William Crim; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Louise Crim, uncle Rodney Crim, and nephew, David Rosairo.
The Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, November 12, 2020. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 1:00PM at the South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
