Obituary for Carl Eugene "Boo" Murphy
Carl Eugene “Boo” Murphy, 50, of Hedgesville passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born April 8, 1972 in Jefferson County, WV he is the son of the late Carl Herbert Murphy and Emma Jean Murphy Shelton Williams. "Boo" was the youngest out of fifteen children.
He is survived by two sons, Deven Murphy of Richmond, VA and Camden Murphy of Outer Banks, NC; one daughter, Kiersten (Emily) Murphy of Richmond, VA; siblings, Paul Shelton (Penny) of Martinsburg, Anita Shelton of Hedgesville, Timothy (Rhonda) Shelton of Hedgesville, Phillip Shelton (Janet) of Hedgesville, Machalle “Missy” Schleuss (Patrick) of Hedgesville; Herbert Murphy (Patty) of Hampshire County, Larry Murphy (Candy) of Martinsburg, and Bill Webster (Vicki) of Mullens, SC; thirty-five nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Debbie Shelton of Gerrardstown and Pam Shelton of Kearneysville; and one brother-in-law, Chuck Unger of Martinsburg.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnnie, David, and Tommie Shelton; and three sisters, Shirley Shelton, Jenny Lou Shelton, and Sharon Murphy Unger.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00PM at the Green Hill Cemetery.
