Obituary for Bruce Wayne Barrett, Sr.
Bruce Wayne Barrett, Sr., 77, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 10, 2023 at his residence.
Born March 27, 1946 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Samuel Junior Barrett and Myrtle Irene (Smeltzer) Barrett.
He was a route salesperson for Shenandoah’s Pride Dairy for 45 years.
He is survived by two sons, Bruce W. Barrett, Jr. (Kim) and Ricky L. Barrett, (Kim), both of Martinsburg; four daughters, Christina M. Braithwaite (Scott) of Winchester, Cindy L. Barrett (Joel) of Poncetula, LA, and Dawn M. Barney of Martinsburg, Bridgett Garner of Ranson; fifteen grandchildren; Twenty-four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Sandra Kay (Shepherd) Barrett; three brothers and five sisters; and a great granddaughter Leah.
Services will be held at 1:30pm on April 14, 2023at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Day and Rev. Martin officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home.
