Obituary for Bobbie Jo O'Brien (Wheeler)
Bobbie Jo O’Brien, 68, of Martinsburg passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born October 23, 1952 in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Wheeler and Juanita Fields Wheeler.
Bobbie worked for the U.S. Coast Guard Homeland Security as a Branch Chief in Communications. She was a Secretary of the Board for the Waldorf Little League in Maryland and loved to shop.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, J. “Pat” Patrick O’Brien; a daughter, Amy K. O’Brien; a son, J. Patrick O’Brien, Jr. and wife, Sarah Lizabeth; grandchildren, William Andrew, and Patrick Brady Hornbeak, Elodie Alexandra and Juliet Rose O’Brien and another on the way; a sister, Peggy Mote and husband, Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Henry; and six sisters, Clara, Ruby, Shirley, Rosie, Gloria, and Judy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
