Obituary for Betty Ann Snyder (Hardman)
Betty Ann Snyder, 87, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Clary Grove Nursing Home.
Born February 14, 1933 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Loretta Bishop Hardman.
Betty and her late husband, Herman were the owners/operators of Snyder’s Amusements, a traveling amusement and concessions company.
She is survived by one son, Donald Snyder; one daughter, Candy Snyder and husband, Glenn Cromwell; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, David Hardman; and three sisters, Judy Gravely, June Hardman, and Peggy Hurley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman David Snyder; one son, David Snyder; and two brothers, Dick and Bud Hardman.
The Brown Funeral Home will be open for family to receive friends only from the hours of Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Interment will be private in Clustered Spires of Frederick, MD.
