Obituary for Betty Jane Kelley (Horner)
Betty Jane (Horner) Kelley, 76, of Martinsburg went home to be with her Lord and savior peacefully Wednesday, January 7, 2021 at her residence.
Born May 13, 1944 in Tomahawk, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles Horner and Thelma (Rockwell) Horner.
She was employed at Garden State Tanning Alkahn Labels, Bedington Crossroads Store, Macey’s, and FedEx.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Kelley; along with her two children, daughter Sherry Kelley and son Robert Kelley of Martinsburg; three grandchildren, Michelle, Robert, and Jeremy; nine great-grandchildren, Courtney, Mikayla, Brittany, Kory, Lexi, Hannah, Emery, Amara, and Carter; three great-grandchildren, MaKenna, Cameron, and Levi; two brothers, Roger and Paul Horner; and two sisters, Helen Frabel, and Norma Jean Bishop.
She was preceded in death by four sisters Dorothy Cook, Frances Miller, Margaret Newcomb, and Mary Basore; five brothers Earl, Ralph, Melvin, Howard, and Leslie Horner.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin High officiating.
Family will receive friends only from the hours of 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
