Obituary for Betty Mae Virgina Hunter (Keller)
Betty Mae Virginia Keller Hunter, 90, of Charles Town passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Jefferson Medical Center.
Born March 16, 1931 in Buckeystown, MD she was the daughter of the late Willard Elijah Keller and Sarah Isabelle Kabrick Keller.
She was an active member of Charles Town Baptist Church and sang in nursing homes. She volunteered with the Berkeley Springs Rescue Squad; and a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Jefferson County.
She was survived by two sons, Alan M. Hunter, Jr. of Buckeystown, MD and Wayne K. Hunter and wife, Debbie of Arlington, TX; three daughters, Nancy R. Ambrose of Charles Town, Sarah V.H. Brown of Hagerstown, and Glenda W. Milburn and husband, Virgil of Romney, WV; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan M. Hunter, Sr.; and one son, Paul Nathan Hunter.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 6:00 PM at Charles Town Baptist Church, 211 East Congress Street, Charles Town, WV, 25414.
