Obituary for Barbara May Gregory (Saunders)
Barbara May Saunders Gregory 78, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at her residence.
Born May 11, 1944 in Hedgesville, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Anna Mary Newkirk Saunders.
She was employed by Wal-Mart and was a member of the Independent Bible Church.
She is survived by one son and two daughters, Gary D. Gregory and (fiance Brandi S. Thomas) ; Cindy G. Burdette (David L.), and Lisa G. May (Brent D.); four grandchildren, Ashley E Monahan (Robert S.). and Matthew P. Burdette (Julia A.), Victoria E. Whitney (Justin B.) and Sara G. May; one great grandchild Emma C. Monahan; and one sister, Jenny S. Hull.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Robert L. Saunders, Jr., and Franklin D. R. Saunders; and two sisters, Jacqueline S. Martin. and Mary E. Clymer.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Johnson.
Interment will be in the Falling Waters Presbyterian Cemetery at Spring Mills.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of The Panhandle or the Berkeley County Humane Society.
