Obituary for Angela Leigh Zerbe (Wamsley)
Angela Leigh Zerbe, 47 of Shepherdstown passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022, in the Berkeley Medical Center. Born May 3, 1975, in Silver Spring, Maryland, she was the daughter of Ronald and JoAnn Ellis Wamsley of Statesville, North Carolina.
Angela worked for Navy Federal Credit Union for over 20 years, most of that time spent as a Supervisor in Credit Cards. She was much more than a colleague, co-worker, mentor, motivator, friend, sister, daughter, mother, and wife. She was a true angel on this earth that touched and positively impacted many people’s lives. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her kindness, beautiful smile and contagious laugh will be missed by all that were lucky enough to know her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Allen Zerbe, sons, Nevin Zerbe, Tyler Gendron, both of Martinsburg, and Noah Petrice of Pensacola, Florida, daughters, Fallyn Zerbe of Martinsburg, Adrienne Glenn of Charles Town and Emily Zerbe of Shepherdstown, brother, Ronald Wamsley, Jr. of Tampa, Florida and sister Tracey Wamsley of Burnsville, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held 10 am Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, 114 N. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV 25438 with Dr. Henry Christie officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Chapel.
