Marvin Lee Jenkins, Sr., 68 of Summit Point passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 in the Jefferson Medical Center. Born July 19, 1951 in Winchester, Virginia he was the son of the late James Albert Jenkins and Ethel Mae Nichols Jenkins. He was a member of the Middleway Pentecostal Church, worked as a carpenter Union 2033. Marvin served in the U S Airforce during Vietnam era. He loved coon hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Carol Lofton Jenkins, son Marvin Jenkins, Jr. and wife Tina of Summit Point, daughter Tonya Jenkins of Martinsburg, brother Sonny Jenkins of Capon Bridge, sisters, Ethel White of Inwood, Audrey Graves of Boyce, Virginia and Jean Gordon of Outer Banks, North Carolina, grandchildren, Halle, Tiffani and Matthew Jenkins and great grandchildren, Zoey and Owen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother James Jenkins and sister Doris Dodson.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Jefferson Chapel with the Reverend Johnny Faircloth officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
