Obituary for Dale Walter Lantz
Dale Walter Lantz, 71, of Martinsburg, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at his residence.
Born May 24, 1948 in Rowlesburg, WV, he was the son of the late Ersel W. Lantz and Evaleen (Shaffer) Lantz.
Dale worked at Dupont as a machine operator, he loved baseball, his favorite team was the Pirates, he also enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by two sons, Roger L. Walker II and Donovan Lantz; two daughters, Amanda Brown and Dawn Gentry; one sister, Elma Lantz Leaman; and seven loving grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Louise Andrews Lantz; and one sister, “Dutch” Lantz.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
