Peggy was one of my best friends when I was a teen. We had great times at the river with all of our family. She was a Caton no doubt about it. She was the first person I told when I thought I was pregnant and she was always there for Moe and I. Her birth name was Martha Louise. I use to kid her because she was named after my Mom. She was definitely one of a kind. She won’t be lonely I’m sure Gracie AKA Momma fang met her and most of the family is there. Be pain free and ride your cycle with wings. Gonna miss ya

Peggy was my second cousin. She was one of a kind and can never be replaced. Growing up she would play with me and my brother as if she was our age. They would always use me as their army She was my brother’s Godmother and she carried that with honors. Scary to think our parents trusted her with us and we survived. She will be greatly missed every single day. Rest easy now Peggy. Your job down here is done. Now go give them heck up there...I am sure you already have. Save me a spot up’s see you yah!

Photo is a little distorted but this was at my brothers wedding some time back.

Peggy, I always enjoyed the smart comebacks you used to come up with, I used to look forward to those exchanges when we both worked at the Air Guard and then again when we fought fires together at Baker Heights. I

I didn't know Peggy all that well. We grew up on the north end of town, so, our paths crossed some. Peggy was the first person I knew who had a motorcycle. She took me on my first ride from High Street down Strine Avenue up to North Queen. The longest two blocks of my life. Scared doesn't describe how I felt on that minute ride. Not that Peggy drove to fast or carelessly. It was just me doing something I know my parents wouldn't like. Anyway, over the years whenever I would be on a motorcycle, I would always and will always think of Peggy. R.I.P. Peggy
