Obituary for George Milton Hammond
George Milton Hammond, 75, of Inwood, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020.
Born on January 2, 1945, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Harry Hammond and Stella Bond Hammond.
George attended Valley View Chapel in Inwood. He was an avid fisherman, he loved the news and reading the daily newspaper. He loved watching football and baseball games.
He is survived by his children, Michele Rhyne, Alecia Hammond, Tammy Mobley, Heather Miller, Kayla Hoffmaster and Kyle Hoffmaster; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Diane Hammond.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Hoffmaster Hammond.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Tim Howard officiating.
