Obituary for Jacob Joseph Cato
Jacob Joseph Cato, 60, of Gerrardstown, WV, passed away on December 31, 2019 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born on August 13, 1959 to George Melvin Fairchild and Maurice Monroe Cato in Escambia County Florida.
Jacob was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. Something he often mentioned. He was very proud of Jeremiah and Carol and their spouses Erica and Andrew and always tried his best to be there and support them. Anyone who knew Jacob knew that he was the most loving father, brother, husband, friend a family could ask for.
He is survived by a son, Jeremiah and his wife Erica; four grandchildren, Grayson, Isabella, Willow and Rowynn; daughter, Carol and her husband, Andrew; grandson, Damian; and sister, Marion and many more.
Jacob will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Christiable Domino; a niece, Darren Wright; his mother and father and best friend Lee Penwell.
