Obituary for Jessie Vernard Tibbs
Jessie V. Tibbs, 72, of Charles Town, passed away at home Friday, September 13, 2019. Born in Jefferson County, WV, he was the son of the late Narvella Virginia Williams.
He was very passionate about his family, friends and horses. This passion took him to many of the thoroughbred racetracks along the east coast, including the Penn National and Charles Town Race Tracks, where he served as a Hot Walker and Groom.
Graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Martinsburg, with the Chaplain Rafael Arroyave officiating.
