Obituary for Charles W Sheppard
Charles W. Sheppard, 74, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his residence.
Born February 14, 1945 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Charles D. Sheppard and Mary R. (Ramsburg) Sheppard
Charles was with the WV 167th Air National Guard for 38 years. He also owned and operated C.W Sheppard Electrical Contracting for over 50 years. He was a member of many organizations including Back Creek Valley Junior Order Mechanics Council #15, Red Men of Williamsport Lodge 84, BPOE 778 Elks Lodge, VFW of Martinsburg, American Legion of Martinsburg and Martinsburg Moose Lodge 120 where he earned the Pilgrim Degree which is the highest degree of merit.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Smith) Sheppard; and one son, Cody Sheppard and wife Emma.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home.
A Pilgrim Memorial Ceremony will be held at 7:00 PM during the 6-8 visitation hours.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Moose Charities Inc., 155 S International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539.
