Obituary for Gladys Irene DuBose
Gladys Irene Collins DuBose, 93, of Falling Waters passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019
Born April 20, 1926 in Berkeley County she was the daughter of the late Charles Edgar Collins and Edith Pearl Braithwaite Collins.
She was a 50+ years active member of Harmony United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker for years and did seasonal work as a pealer for the CH Musselman Company.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda K. Foster and husband, Greg; grandchildren, Kara Jill McDaniel and Menda Lynn Dugan; and five great grandchildren, Peyton A., Amelia G., and Beau Dugan, Dylan and Eli McDaniel; and a sister, Anna Laura Linton.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Wade McKee Dubose; one son, Dennis Lee DuBose; brothers, Howard, Woodrow, Robert, John, and Thurman Collins; seven sisters, Hilda, Virginia, Ida, Mildred, Margaret, Catherine and Carrie.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00AM at Harmony United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Zalatoris officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the service at the church. Interment at 2:00PM in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
