Obituary for James Benson Johnson
James Benson Johnson, 82, of Inwood, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at his residence.
Born on June 1, 1937, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Houston N. and Grace Adeline Strother Johnson.
He was a member of St. John’s Baptist Church in Shepherdstown.
He had retired as a systems operator at Corning Glass.
He is survived by two brothers, Cornell L. Johnson, Inwood, and Stephen S. Johnson, Martinsburg; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Banks and Julia Burrell.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home with Elder John Price officiating.
Family will be receiving one hour prior to service.
