Obituary for Brenda Lee Dailey (Smallwood)
Brenda Smallwood Dailey, 60, of Kearneysville, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born January 11, 1959, in Winchester, Virginia, she was the daughter of Freda Mae Orndorff Smallwood of Ranson and the late Wayne Lewis Smallwood.
Brenda was a member of the Crossroads Church of Shepherdstown. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her grandkids and liked to sew. For the past several years, she served as the Honorary Chair and team captain for Relay for Life.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 37 years, Paul Eugene Dailey, Sr., at home; son, Paul Eugene Dailey, Jr, and wife Tiffany of Middleway; daughter, Karen Dailey of Marshall, Virginia and close friend Mike Miller, sister, Dana Jenkins, and husband Danny, of Summit Point, and 3 grandchildren: Kohlton, Hadleigh and Sawyer, nephew, Stephen Jenkins and family and niece, Lindsay Koch and family.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor B J Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, at the Chapel.
