Obituary for Richard Dennis Paxton
Richard Dennis Paxton, 65, of Hedgesville, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born October 17, 1954, in Fairmont, WV, he was the son of the late Dennis Leo Paxton and Catherine Mae Hulderman Paxton.
He was a member of the Monongah Methodist Church in Fairmont, WV.
Richard was an avid reader of science fiction, a history buff, he had a sharp mind and was a good person, and he loved his cat, Chloe.
He is survived by one son, Lawrence Shelburn Paxton, of Wake Forest, NC, and brother David Paxton of Hedgesville.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Marion County Humane Society, 2731 Locust Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554
