Obituary for Daniel C "Bob" Perrell

Daniel C. Perrell (Bob), 94, of Marlowe, went to be with the Lord on Veterans Day, November 11, 2019.

Born April 16, 1925 in Falling Waters, WV, he was the son of the late William and Ellen (Dunkle) Perrell.

He was retired from DuPont with 33 years of service. He attended Independent Bible Church. He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army and served in the Philippines in WWII. He was a charter member of the Marlowe Ruritan Club, Berkeley County Historical Society and Habitat for Humanity. Daniel was a great, loving, giving man and will be truly missed by many.

He is survived by one daughter, Jo Ellen Cannedy and her husband, Larry; one son, Randy Perrell and wife, Karla; three grandchildren, Kyle and Allyson Perrell and Michael Castleman; three great-grandchildren, Denali, Keenan and Sawyer Castleman; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Rosa Lee Perrell; one son, Dennis Clark Perrell; five brothers, Adam, Reuben, Woodrow, Ray, and Merle; and five sisters, Mae, Margie, Daisy, Thesta and Marie.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Johnson officiating, family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
