John Overington

I was so sorry to learn of Daniel Perrell’s passing. His knowledge and history of the area was remarkable and I enjoyed listening to him when we met at Barneys Restaurant and he shared his stories of the area in the past as well as seeing him at the Marlowe Ruritan breakfast on the 2nd Saturday of the month. I have fond memories of him showing some of the old structures and landmarks in the North Berkeley area. My thoughts and prayers go to his family. I was sorry to be out of town and only learned of his passing when I returned.

Bobby was one my grandfathers good friends. One of my fond memories was when he was always there at the butcherings my grandfather did on the farm and I always enjoyed being around him when I was young.
A pillar of the old Marlowe Commity.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was truly blessed to have gotten to know your dad, even though it was just for a short time. I will always remember our times sitting on the porch(with sir scruffington) and our morning coffee and my hot tea reading the paper. He was amazing and he Will always have a special place in my heart.
