Obituary for Clifton "Buddy" Carlisle
Clifton “Buddy” Carlisle, 83, of Hedgesville passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
Born September 21, 1936 in Burtonsville, MD he was the son of the late Clifton and Grace Duvall Carlisle.
After retirement, he moved to West Virginia in 2000. He was a flying enthusiast and enjoyed living in his “flying community” in Hedgesville. Buddy loved to fly the airplane that he built. He had a love for life, family, and his two precious golden retrievers.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Bell Carlisle; one son, Mike Bell; three daughters, Peggy Sue Carlisle, Victoria Carlisle, and Michelle Blumenthal; two grandchildren, Ashleigh Dubost and Kevin McVicker; one brother, Buddy Clark; one sister, Jeannie Brickman; and his faithful companions golden retrievers Chippy and Chase.
Memorial service will be held at Airborne Church, Saturday, November 30, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Green officiating.
