Obituary for Lois Jean Rickard (Anderson)

Lois Jean Anderson Rickard, 81, of Ranson, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice. Born June 17, 1938 in Ranson, she was the daughter of the late Harland Anderson and Elsie Ballenger Anderson. She was a member of the Mannings Assembly of God Church. She retired from Double Day where she was a book binder.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy Rickard, and wife Roxanne, of Kearneysville and Eric Rickard, and wife Brenda, of Charles Town; daughter/ granddaughter and caregiver, Erica Fiorvanti, and husband Matthew, of Ranson; two brothers, Gary Anderson, and wife Cha, of Ranson and Wayne Anderson, and wife Barbara, of Kearneysville; two sisters, DeAnna Lloyd, of Stephen City, Virginia, and Patrina Howell, of Charles Town; grandchildren: Amber, Audrey, Cody and Zachary Rickard, four great grandchildren; Sierra Tucker, Hannah Bowels, Christian Weister and Isaiah Holdreth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Oliver Rickard, and brother, Lamar Anderson.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2019, at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor Steve Lewis officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel.
