Obituary for Samuel Eugene Hough
Samuel E. Hough 79, of Martinsburg, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his home.
He was born on July 23, 1940 in Charlestown, WV, the son of Ernest and Virginia Hough.
Surviving are his two sons, Michael E. Hough and his wife, Annette, of Hagerstown, MD, and Samuel F. Hough and his wife, Kelly, of Ooltewah, TN; grandchildren, Mckenna Hough of Charleston, SC and Tyler Hough of Ooltewah, TN; and companion of over 40 years, Barbara Beard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Hough, and siblings, George “Mike” Hough, Philip Hough, Mary Lou Zombro, and granddaughter Brooke Ann Lee Hough.
Sam served the US Army for 2 years and then was employed by General Motors for 30 years.
Sam enjoyed buying and selling old cars, restoring corvettes, attending car shows and spending time with family and friends.
The visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11th, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, WV.
The funeral service will be held directly following the visitation. The interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens immediately following the service.
The family wishes to thank friends, and all the amazing staff and volunteers of Hospice for their dedication and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Samuel Hough to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
