Obituary for James Raymond Barrett
James Raymond Barrett, 72, of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born October 7, 1947 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Calvin Barrett Sr. and Mable Elizabeth Butts Barrett.
He is survived by two daughters, Paula Barrett and Jaymee Craker; two stepsons, Billy Barrett and Robert D. Smith; three grandchildren, Bailey Craker, Robert Smith Jr., and Carolyn Smith; daughter in-law, April Smith; one brother, Calvin Barrett II and sister-in-law Debra; two sisters, Cynthia Manor and Robin Wilt and brothers-in-law Patrick Manor and Dwight Wilt; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Riggs; and the love of his life, Linda D. Smith.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, with family receiving one hour prior to service.
Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Needmore.
