Obituary for Marcia Subelsky
Marcia Subelsky, known as Robin to her friends and family departed life for heaven on October 20th.
Preceded in death by her parents, Captain and Mrs. Richard Bradley, she is survived by a loving family including her husband Barry; two children, Michael A. Subelsky, wife Laura Wexler; Anne Marie Smith, husband Brian; six grandchildren, Daniel and Charlotte Subelsky, Cassandra, Desmond, Evangeline, and Felicity Smith; siblings Rick Bradley, wife Judy, Sharon Bradley, and Claire Ingley, husband Jerry. Her extended family includes numerous friends, colleagues, and cats.
Robin taught elementary school for 35 years and received many awards. Because of her love of children, after retiring from Montgomery County Public Schools, she served for 14 years as a beloved substitute teacher in Berkeley County.
She lived her life to the fullest and loved everyone with whom she came in contact. She forgave everyone and always had a kind word for everybody. Her life will echo eternally through the thousands of children that she taught and through her countless acts of service and generosity.
She fought an amazing battle with cancer, assisted by an outstanding team of doctors, nurses and medical technicians. She thanks them all.
God needed another angel, so he took her.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home. Remembrances of Robin will be shared at 7:30 PM in a farewell ceremony.
