Obituary for Richard Samuel Smith
Richard Samuel Smith, 75, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019.
Born on September 30, 1944, he was the son of the late Samuel Smith and Dorothy Fox Smith.
He was a veteran of the US Army. He retired from the VA Medical Center.
He is survived by two daughters; Belinda Johnson and Stella Jeannie Bonilla; three brothers, Edward Smith, James Smith, and wife Ester, and Sylvester Smith all of Martinsburg; three sisters, Dorothy Smith, Anna Smith and Claudia M. Smith all of Martinsburg; and grandchildren Tamika, Alyssa and Jaylynn Smith, and Diamond Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Elder Johnny Price officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel from noon until 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
