Born December 12, 1926 in Spruce Pine Hollow, Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late James Brough and Rose P. Kesecker Brough.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Charles Grove and wife Amy of Hedgesville, James Bruce Grove and wife Lori of Martinsburg, David Andrew Grove and wife Dawn of Martinsburg, and daughter Harriet Elizabeth Maphis and husband Ricky of Martinsburg; nine grandchildren, Cara Rose, Aaron, Eric, Hayle, Morgan, Drew, Dawson, Jud and Whitney; and seven great-grandchildren, Devin, Aaliyah, Kaylee, Casanova, Jonathan, Paige and Jeremy; a special caregiver, Holly McDonald; and devoted nephew Jamie Jenkins.
