Obituary for Francis William Overholt
Francis William Overholt, 71, of Shepherdstown passed away Friday, September 18, 2019 at University of Maryland Medical Center.
Born June 20, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Mary Donnely.
Francis was a member of St. James Church, he was an excellent carpenter, he would build nativity scenes for the Church and Church fundraisers.
He is survived by his wife Helen (Bane) Overholt; stepchildren, Anthony Marrone, Paula Marrone Reese, Roger Marrone, Albert Marrone, Patrick Marrone, Helen Wilkins, and Alice Dillow; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by two stepsons, Arthur Marrone and Jason Marrone.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church in Inwood.
