Linda Lou Nichols, 70, of Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 3, 1948 in Strasburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Atkins and Mildred (Miller) Atkins.

Linda was a co-owner of the former restaurant Linda & Danny’s kitchen, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel R. Nichols; one son, Gary A. Putman, Jr.; one daughter, Sophia l. Putman; three step-daughters, Sharon Fouch, Susan Munson, and Shelley Nichols Franklin; thirteen grandchildren, Gary Putman III, Steven Putman, Joseph Swain, Alex Swain, Keisha Fritz, Kristy Fouch, Kyle Fouch, Kelly Fouch, Taylor Munson, Garrett Munson, Jordyn Munson, Sabryn Franklin, and Corbin Franklin; six great-grandchildren, Joseph Swain III, Logan Swain, Andrew Fouch, Ana Fouch, Ava Fouch, and Elias Porter; one brother, Ronnie Atkins; four sisters, Debby Chapman, Jane Lambert, Becky Coates, and Ebb Anderson; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Rickey, Bill, Bud, and Joseph Atkins; and one sister, Pearl Dodson.
