Obituary for Audrey Ellen Kackley (Kaylor)
Audrey Ellen Kaylor Kackley, 87, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
Born on August 20, 1932 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Guy R. and Grace Ellen Grubb Kaylor.
Audrey was a very active member of the Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren where she served as a deacon for over 40 years. She retired from Martins with 16 years of service. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels for over 20 years.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Vernon L. “Shorty” Kackley; one son, Steven L. Kackley and companion, Connie Carroll of Winchester, VA; two daughters, Marci K. and husband, Steve Hedges of Martinsburg, and Jodi R. and husband Steven Ritter of Stephens City, VA; three grandchildren, Travis E. Luttrell, Trevor W. Hedges and Kaylor C. Hedges; and two great-grandchildren, Bryce E. Luttrell and Nevaeh Grace Luttrell.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren with Pastor Robert Miller officiating.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
