Obituary for Jacqueline Michelle "Jackie & Grandma" Ferree (Batko)

Jacqueline “Jackie” Michelle Batko Ferree (known as Grandma), 71, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019.

Born on February 19, 1948 in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Lawrence Batko and Anna Marie Pase Batko.

Jackie lived happily with her granddaughter and grandson-in-law Melissa and Michael Howard, in a full house surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, almost everyday, and that made her very happy. Jackie enjoyed going to the Charles Town casino and enjoyed being there for others. Her heart was pure, she was an avid church goer, and a member of the Marvin's Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Renninger; five grandchildren, Melissa Howard, Angel Renninger, Austin Reedy, Kenneth Renninger, and Thomas Renninger, Jr.; four great-grandchildren that meant everything to her, Jaxson Price, Makenna Howard, Thomas Renninger, III, and Mariyia Emerson; two sisters, Patricia Perrazola, and Sylvia Nicklow; and one brother, John Batko.

She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Renninger.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Marvin’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 130 Gosling Marsh Road, P. O. Box 872 Martinsburg, WV 25402.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Marvin’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor John Lewis officiating.
