Obituary for Walter Pearrell
Walter Pearrell, 86, of Martinsburg, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Clary Grove Nursing Home.
Born January 9, 1933, he was the son of the late Harry N. Pearrell and Isabell Robinson Pearrell.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Walter is survived by one son, Walter Pearrell, II; one daughter, Sheila VanHorn and husband Bobby; four grandchildren, Crystal Johnson and husband, Sidney, Rusty VanHorn and companion, Jamie Bowers, Robert VanHorn and wife, Shannon, and Samantha Jones; numerous great grandchildren; one brother, Carl Pearrell; three sisters, Barbara Chrisman and husband, John, Gladys Albright, and Linda Sullivan and husband, James.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Jean Howell Pearrell; six brothers, Harry, William, Amos, Robert, Willis and Harold; and two sisters, Janie Hilliard and Mildred Kackley.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Homes’ South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, WV.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the chapel in Inwood with Pastor Louis Whitford officiating. Interment will be held in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
